Five minutes is all it takes to prepare this no-bake cake. As easy as it is to make, it tastes even better since each bite practically melts in your mouth. Even though this cake is made with cheap ingredients, it looks so decorative that you may serve it with those pricey and sophisticated cakes that take a day or two to prepare.

It’s a blessing to have this recipe in your cookbook because everyone loves it, and probably you will prepare it more often, almost every week. Also, you can decide the shape of this cake depending on what type of mold you have. You can make it in a rectangle shape or even a roll. This is what you require:

Ingredients required: 400 grams of biscuits (around 4 cups), 100 grams of nuts (2/3 cup), 50 grams of cocoa powder (1/2 cup), 200 ml of milk (1 cup), 120 grams of unsalted butter (1 1/2 tbsp), 100 grams of sugar (1/2 cup), half a packet of vanilla sugar, 120 grams of chocolate, 100 ml of sweetened cream (1/2 cup), and 40 grams of white chocolate for decorating the cake.

Preparation: Break the biscuits by hand into large or medium pieces and place them in a deep bowl. Coarsely chop the walnuts or put them in a blender, but do not grind them too finely, it is better when there are larger pieces left. Set aside one hand of nuts for decoration. Stir the mixture of biscuits and nuts.

Put 1 cup of milk in a pot, add 1/2 cup of sugar and a little vanilla sugar, then add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder. Make sure there are no lumps, then whisk constantly while heating at a moderate temperature until the ingredients melt.

Add the butter (120 g), cut into smaller cubes, and stir until it is completely melted and incorporated into the mixture. The mixture should have a similar consistency to chocolate icing, only thinner.

Pour the prepared chocolate coating over the crushed biscuits and nuts. Carefully mix with a spoon or spatula, making sure that the pieces of the biscuits remain whole. You will notice that the mixture will quickly thicken and soak into the biscuits.

Pour it into a springform pan lined with baking paper or stretch foil. Use a smaller pan if you want a taller cake. Flatten it and let it cool for 10 minutes.

While waiting, warm the sweetened cream and the chopped chocolate over low heat. Make sure to prevent it from boiling. Pour the smooth mixture over the cake after mixing it thoroughly. With a toothpick, create sun-shaped designs in the melted white chocolate that has been poured in the center of the cake.

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts around the sides of the cake. Leave the cake to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. The preparation details can be found HERE.
